Factory workers in Italy are threatening to down tools next week following news of Cristiano Ronaldo’s €112 million transfer from Spain’s Real Madrid to the country’s Serie A team Juventus (click here).

The reason had nothing to do with CR7’s prowess on the pitch but everything to do with the money paid to get it.

Juventus is owned by the Agnelli family, which also owns the factory in Melfi that assembles Fiat motor cars, say reports.
